Every client begins with a free consultation. This includes - Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire - Fitness and Health Related Goal Setting - Functional Movement Screen -Body Composition Tracking Once you become a client, every session will include an individualized workout routine that will be progressive as you advance through your health and fitness goals. During each session I help to direct, guide, and motivate you through a sequence of exercises while keeping you accountable and safe.

Hi. I'm Amanda

I am a NASM certified personal trainer and certified Women's fitness Specialist. I am a mom of three children; a girl and two boys and a wife to a hard-working husband. When my youngest son was born, I found myself gaining weight instead of bouncing back after pregnancy. Before I knew it, I was 250 lbs, couldn't keep up with the kids, and needed naps every day to get by. My family has a history of diabetes and heart conditions, and this was not the path I wanted to take. I lost 80 lbs. I was healthy, felt great, and now the tables had turned, and my kids were the ones that couldn't keep up. My goal in life is to create the safe, comfortable, and encouraging environment that I was given and help others reach their goals and feel good about achieving them.

Amanda is a wonderful personal trainer.  I enjoyed workouts with her, which made the hard work I was doing less intimidating.  I found her to be patient in explaining new exercises, and in making modifications if I had difficulty or felt pain.  Amanda helped me tremendously as I recovered from injuries.  She instinctively found the perfect balance between pushing hard enough to make solid progress in my strength and fitness level, and pushing so hard that I felt overwhelmed or discouraged.  Finally, she was great at making food or recipe suggestions that fit perfectly with my nutrition plan.  I would give Amanda my strongest recommendation as a personal trainer.

As my personal trainer, Amanda wears many crowns. She’s equal parts inspiration, understanding and technical extraordinaire. She’s encouraging without being overbearing; appreciative and understanding that life can affect us in different ways on different days (she’s a mom too – she gets it); as well as being keenly attentive with her feedback and observation of my technique. And technique is everything, as I quickly learned. I think that’s one of the things I love most about working with Amanda – the continual feedback loop. How she describes each of the exercises (with visuals which I LOVE!!!), which muscles they’re meant to target, and where I ought to feel it when doing them. If I’m not feeling it in the correct muscles, she reassesses my technique and quickly ascertains the issue and helps me make the necessary adjustments. With Amanda’s help, I’ve been able to improve my work out, as well as my tenacity to stick with it. If you’re a skeptic, take up a few sessions with Amanda. She’ll make a believer out of you too!

My training experience with Amanda has been so positive and rejuvenating, as well as gratifying and humbling. I went from poor health, no motivation and no exercise and was welcomed into a modified training program designed for my limitations. “Welcomed” meaning I felt the caring, compassion and dedication that Amanda was there for me – to help me. She is always extremely supportive and helpful in moving me along my healthy journey, pushing me when she knows she can, but also making sure I’m not pushing myself too far. She also truly listens – will sit and have a conversation with you to understand “you”, your goals and concerns and then incorporate that, as well as her training expertise, in developing a program for you.
